Set To Go 2:30 PM

Have my suitcase packed, boarding passes printed, and I'm ready to sail. Looking forward to running the decks of the Wonder, eat and eat and eat, lounge by the pool, snorkel at Castaway Cay, and completely enjoy my vacation. I had a really nice time with Mom and Dad yesterday. It would have been great had I won some money at the casino, but it didn't ruin the holiday. I'm going to spend the remaining time before I head out to the airport lounging, reading, watching TV, and snacking. I want to go now!!!

Stuffed 8:40 AM

Happy Thanksgiving Day! Getting ready to head out and stuff some slots, win big, stuff myself, eat big, then nap big too. The suit case is stuffed full, got most of my stuff together, almost ready for the next trip. There's still plenty of stuff to do in the mean time!

Some Day 7:08 PM

I'm beginning to look forward to the trip now, one week from today I will be on board the Disney Wonder once again, heading for the Bahamas. I never would have expected to be going again so soon, yet a fourth sailing in just a years time. Went out today to Culver's for lunch, Target to pick up incidentals and snacks for the trip, and a stop at the gas station to fill up the tank on the Jeep in preparation for tomorrow's first snow fall. I am not looking forward to the drive to work in the morning. Why do I remain in Wisconsin, when I long to live in Florida? Maybe some day.

One Week And Counting 4:16 PM

I am starting to prepare for the trip, did a bunch of laundry to get organized and start packing. I leave next Saturday for another adventure on the seven seas! Last night Doug and I went to see Twilight and were surprised to find we were two of three men in attendance. I knew there was a large female following for the books, but didn't expect an entire audience of women! The movie equalled the book and I enjoyed it completely. I made the mistake of going grocery shopping today around noon and it was crowded and people got on my nerves and I didn't get all I intended to get just because I wanted to be out of there quickly. I should have known better. Tonight I plan on lounging and curling up with a good book. And thinking about the cruise...

What A Weekend 4:10 PM

It's been a cold long week. I want to wrap up in a blanket and hibernate. Of course since it's the weekend, I will spend some time doing just that and others running around. Getting out to see Twilight tonight, have to get some blood work done tomorrow, and I can begin the task of packing for my trip next weekend. I'll keep myself warm in the process.

Iced Coffee 8:39 PM

I am still grooving on Java Monster, anytime I stop at the gas station or grocery store I pick one up. My favorites are Big Black and Chai Hai. I should invest in the company, my recyclable bin is full of empty cans. I got a can tonight when I filled the tank with gas. I didn't realize how bad the roads were, I had no problems. Black ice everywhere, The news filled with accidents on the roads. I talked with Julie for over an hour while she was stuck in traffic on her way home from Brookfield. I'm glad I am home , warm, safe, and sound with my Java Monster, looking foward to my trip to the Bahamas!

Time For Change 5:28 PM

After weeks of talking about it, I finally got the Jeep in for an oil change. I had all the fluids checked, the tires rotated and balanced, so it's set for the winter. Went bumming with Doug this afternoon, and getting ready to meet Jody for dinner (Cha Ching!) later tonight. I've tried several times to change the time on my watch back to standard time but without success. Good thing I'm heading back to the Bahamas, my watch will be on the correct time. Who knew digital watches could be so difficult?

Dented 7:32 PM

I stopped at the grocery store yesterday morning before work to pick up some lunches and snacks. While I was shopping, somebody pulled into the spot next to me and hit the Jeep. I now have a nice dent on the right rear quarter panel and a cracked tail light. I looked for sale items and got more than I bargained for.

Wonder of Wonders 4:11 PM

I am still in disbelief as I write this. Doug and I are set to sail on the Disney 4 night cruise November 30th to December 4th again. Each trip has been incredible and to think I am going to go for a fourth time in unbelievable. and Wonderful!!!

Overload 8:34 PM

When the refrigerator, freezer, microwave, PC, TV, and assorted lights are all going at once, it trips the circuit breaker. In the dark I had to fumble for a flashlight, then put on shoes, and head down to the basement to reset. I hadn't turned off anything so by the time I made it back up the stairs, the circuit tripped again. I turned off lights, headed back to the basement, reset the circuit breaker and crossed my fingers. I have electricity again!

Overboard 7:23 PM

I have returned from another great vacation aboard the Disney Wonder. Five days of rest, relaxation, sun, fun, food, and adventure. It was sunny, warm, got to explore Atlantis in Nassau in the Bahamas, snorkel in the ocean at Castaway Cay, had breakfast each morning on the verandah, lots of desserts and ice cream, coffee, saw incredible shows and movies. Now it's time to settle back into routine.
