My 2008 Federal tax returns have been intercepted by Social Security for repayment of benefits I have not collected. Spoke with an unpleasant woman and got nowhere. Two years into this on-going process and it's still not resolved. I am seriously thinking about getting a lawyer at this time. Enough is enough.
On a side note, I contacted the Wisconsin Department of Revenue about my state taxes. Turns out, I did not claim rent paid on my 2005 returns (how did I miss that!?!), so I will file an amended return for an additional refund. I received my 2008 return in the mail!!! I have spending money for my trip to Disney!!!
